ABU Robot Contest 2004 Seoul
 
 
 
      "Turning a Sanitary Landfill into Paradise"
·The aim of this contest is to gain points by separating the waste,
in the shape of cylinders and cubes, into the corresponding containers.
Each team then has to cover them up with something to create an ecological paradise.
The duration of each match is three minutes.
   
 
   ·  Date: August 31, 2001
 ·  Venue:Seoul National University, Gymnasium
 ·  Participants: 17teams from 11universities
 ·  Awards:
     - Winner - Trophy & US$2,600 : 'Four Wheel Cycle' from University of Incheon
    - Runner up - Trophy & US$1,300 : '[kei:]' from Yonsei University
     - Best Technology - Trophy & US$50 : 'Project U-No' from Chungnam National University

 ·  Benefits for the Winner Team(supported by ABU):
    - To participate in 'ABU Robocon 2002 Tokyo'
    - To be provided all participation fee for the contest
    - Subsidy of US$1,000 for making robots & US$600 for robot packing
    -To make documentary of the process of making robots for the purpose of
       distribution to the participating countries
